Mimi's Feet @ The Station (mile 180)

From Marietta, OH (mile 172) to Belpre, OH (mile 184) and onward to the 200 mile marker we've had support from various kayakers along the way! Mimi and I woke up at the crack of dawn on Monday to go to a local show in Pakersburg, WV where we were accompanied by Allen Gearhart, the kayaker for miles 160 to 200 who is also this amazing wood worker/artist.

We stayed with his amazing parents Don and Dottie in Belpre, OH in a house overlooking the river that Don made (one of many along the river). They are so active and are loving retirement...made me wish that I could retire...from what, not sure yet!

Sharon, Mimi's friend just arrived and I think will have a little rain today. Onward we go toward Ravenswood, WV where we'll be staying on the Ohio side. This Ohio-West Virginia crisscrossing makes me dizzy!
